Recommended Noise-Cancelling Headphones

If you are having difficulty concentrating whilst studying for exams, you might like to think about noise-cancelling headphones. When deciding which ones to buy, ask someone who already has some noise cancelling headphones, or who works in a hi-fi shop. We have been recommended the Sennheiser PXC range -- These are headphones that fit a variety of different budgets. A good one to go for is the Sennheiser PXC 350, with the top model in the range being the PXC 450.  Bose also do some high end noise cancelling headphones, although we are assured that in tests of comparable headphones at similar prices, the Sennheiser PXC range always performs best. They run on batteries, and have a very long battery life.

You can buy the PXC 350 from eBay for about £150 (the RRP is much more than this). You can find the Sennheiser PXC range on eBay or the top of the range PXC 450 new on Amazon
